April 6, 2007 - Just a few paint touch ups and we are complete!!
March 30, 2007 - Lot's of small odds and ends left. Starting to move our
things back to the new kitchen and slowly getting things back to normal.
March 23, 2007 - Granite and appliances are installed!! Next week should
be final for kitchen...paint and brick are all that is left.

March 16, 2007 - Finished hanging the cabinets and have started the tile on the
floor. Hopefully days from having a place to actually cook some food!
Appliances will be in place either tomorrow or early next week.

February 25, 2007 - Electrical completed and inspected. Appliances arrived
(Can't wait to have something to cook on!)

February 16, 2007 - Wall removal complete!! Wide open space. Next
week is electrical, heating and inspections.

They have almost completed the wall removals and have placed the new window.

February 9, 2007 - Finally moved the 1000 pound steel bar into the house.
Things are moving slowly...next week should have the rooms completely opened and
the new windows in place!

Jan 29, 2007 - The bomb went off today!! Out went all of the old
cabinets and up went the temporary supporting walls. In the next few days
they will be re-routing the heating vents to beneath the house and putting up
the supporting beams. Once that is done things will be finally opened up
for all to see.

Jan 16, 2007 - Well the construction started today...day one and my house
already looks like a bomb went off in it! We're thinking we may have to
move down to Angela's mums place for a few weeks.

Jan 12, 2007 - This is the new layout along the entire back wall of our house. We are
knocking down the walls between the existing kitchen, dining room and living
room to open the space up entirely.
